Q: Is this jacket lined? Although you state it is not waterproof, I remeber my early jackets having a lining in. Can you confirm.
A: These are a mixture of British patterns, all prior to the current issue. Some of the very early ones (66 and 68 patterns) were lined, but the later ones (85 pattern onwards) were not. Depending on the size you order we may not have a lined one to offer.

Good sturdy jacket
I have worn and used these jackets as an added layer on cold nights many many times, good at keeping out the wind and the water (unless it is chucking it down)
Pros: Good blanket , Warm, Long lasting, Tough
Cons: Could do with a hood
Sizing: Feels about right

Good value
It comes used and therefore a little faded but i actually prefer that as it looks more authentic. If i saw this in a high street fashion store they'd be calling it "vintage washed" or something (and probably charging about 5 times the price!)
Pros: Good authentic lived in look, Thick material, Well made

POOR QUALITY CHECKS
Having purchased aBritish Combat Jacket for my son to wear at Airsoft I was initially pleased that it was delivered promptly. Upon opening the packing I was dissapointed to find that the top section of the zip was poorly made, having approximately 6 teeth missing from one side which appeared to be a manufacturing fault rather than damage. I phoned to ask for a replacement to be sent before I had returned the damaged one as I needed a jacket quickly for my sons booked Airsoft game. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and agreed to this. 2 days later the replacement arrived but this had a damaged zip also, there was no tab on the zips to do them up. Again I phoned to complain about the poor quality of the items I had received and to ask if another jacket could be sent asap. The guy I spoke to said he would ring me back in 5 minutes. 5 minutes later he rang me to say that they would send another jacket out first class that day and check it thoroughly before it was sent and that I would not need to return the second damaged jacket that I had received. When the third jacket arrived this morning (the day of my sons booked Airsoft game) the jacket was of good quality and I also received a free gift of a Military Headover as compensation I guess.

I bought this and it came very quick it is warm and comfortable.
