About us

Mean and Green is the internet arm of an established "bricks and mortar" army surplus store. We have been trading from our Wolverhampton city centre shop, called Commando Army Wear, since 1991. This means you can be confident that we're not just some internet-only operation that will be here today, gone tomorrow.

We would be delighted if you came to visit us at our shop, although not all lines are stocked in the shop so it's best to contact us first to check availability. Also, some of the prices shown on this site are web-only deals and those products may only be available in the shop at a higher price.

Our address is 87 Darlington St, Wolverhampton, WV1 4EX and we are situated just opposite Beatties (House of Fraser) department store. The nearest car parks to the shop are Beatties (Skinner Street), Civic Centre (North Street) and Birch Street, which are signposted from the Wolverhampton ring road.
