Excellent value
I'm tough on boots because of riding a bike - the instep and sole on the left foot always wears through from repeatedly changing gears. Not the Thinsulate patrol boots! They have stayed tough and sturdy over a good six months use. They show very, very little sign of wear and I can probably get another six months wear out of them
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but like I say, I make tough demands on boots and have tried boots from £10 to £100 - all ended up in the bin after three months wear. I love these boots and will buy them again and again. I always recommend them to fellow bikers as being tougher than bike boots.
Pros: Great value, Comfortable, Tough, Durable
Cons: None!
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes

Great boots but with limits
Bought a pair of these for my Son to use at cadets. Initially thought they were excellent, light weight & very comfy but once they did a river exercise & they got a proper dunking, then the leather became very weak and came away from the toecap. Overall, a good boot but not if you regularly get them soaked.
Pros: Lightweight & comfy
Cons: Will not take repeated dunkings
Would recommend: Yes

Excellent multi-purpose boot.
I wear my boots when I go out on my motorbike and I cannot fault them. I have never had cold or wet feet and they are very comfortable. They look good and have never gave me any blisters. Excellent quality. Suitable for men and women.
Pros: Warm, Lightweight, Comfortable, Inexpensive
Cons: None
Sizing: Feels about right

Great boots
I wanted a pair of boots for work, but didn't want anything too heavy. The guys at meanandgreen recommended these as a lightweight alternative to some of the other combat boots they sell. They were also cheaper! I wear them every day and I find them to be very comfortable. Mine have shined up quite well too, I use parade gloss on mine as i find it brings them up well.
Pros: Good value, Comfortable, Easy to shine, Lightweight
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels large
Would recommend: Yes

Fantastic boots.
I bought these boots to replace my old ones (general issue) and think that they are a very good boot. They're still being worn in, but they haven't rubbed nearly as much as my old ones did. The fabric looks like it will be difficult to clean, but I haven't been in that position. They haven't shined much yet, and are quite tricky to do up exactly how I would like, but they are incredibly supportive and comfortable. Definitely to be recommended.
Pros: Tough, Long-lasting, Supportive, Comfortable, Warm
Cons: Difficult to do up, Might be difficult to clean, Soles felt too thick at first
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes
