Excellent scratch resistant base plate compasses with 1:25K and 1:50K scales. Common features include liquid filled chamber, declination scale, ruler, lanyard, smooth rotating bezel and a curved base to minimise damage to maps. Ranger 3 also has a magnifier and luminous north mark. Commonly used worldwide by armed forces.

Not so lost anymore...
I seem to have this problem all the time,all i ever do is get lost when i go walking which isn't as fun as it seems so i invested in a compass and i haven't got lost..... YET
Pros: Accurate, Lightweight , Small, Scratch resistant surface
Cons: none
