Q: Are the eye areas made out of glass? And if so would it take sharp impacts without shattering?
A: The eye pieces are made out of a thick strong plastic so they shouldn't shatter but can be scratched.

I love it i collect gas masks and i use it for halloween and other dress up things and it works against nasty smells XD definiatly good thign to buy.
