Jetboil Personal Cooking System (PCS) - the original Jetboil - has sparked a revolution in outdoor cooking. Boiling two cups in two minutes at 75-80% efficiency, the PCS is twice as fast and uses half as much fuel as conventional stoves. The PCS boils up to 50 cups (12 Litres) of water from only one Jetpower isobutane/propane micro-canister. Such outstanding performance results from the patent-pending FluxRing heat exchanger, which captures and focuses the burner's heat.
The PCS integrates a 1 litre insulated hard-anodized aluminum cooking cup, high-performance burner base with built-in piezoelectric igniter, drink-through plastic lid, and protective bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup. With all components packed comfortably within the cooking cup, the entire PCS is smaller than a Nalgene bottle. Stow it in your pack, saddle bag, kayak or side pocket - take it anywhere. At 15 ounces, Jetboil PCS rivals the very lightest titanium cooksets and micro-canister stoves.
This model is the improved "Flash" design. It features a new and improved igniter and an indicator window that turns orange as the cup heats.
"Jetboil represents a total rethink of backcountry cookery." - Outside Buyer's Guide, 2004
"Our other canister stove had sputtered to a halt in the cold, windy weather, but Jetboil was cranking out hot drinks faster than we could down them." - Backpacker Magazine, April 2004

Best thing since sliced bread
The Jetboil is an absolutly incredible piece of kit. I've lit in in all sorts of conditions including heavy snow and rain, when you wouldn't have a chance with other methods, and it still boils just as quick. Can all be self contained (with the gas canister, which unfortunatly M&G don't sell), fits easily into a side pouch of a bergan, best money ever spent, as I use it when I'm on my motorbike too (in breaks). Only thing I would like to see is one with a bigger capacity for family outings, but thats it
Pros: Sturdy, Easy to clean, Quick, Very reliable, Small
Cons: Family version would be great
Would recommend: Yes
