Q & A's
Q & A's
Q: What is the chest size of the XL?
A: The XL size coat measures 23" from armpit to armpit and would suit up to approximately a 42" chest.
Q: Looking at the grade of the coat, how good are they in reality? I am looking at using it at all times in the winter, some times over a suit if I need to walk between buildings accross town in the winter and I worry if it will look daft having a well worn threadbare winter coat over a suit.....
A: These are generally in good condition, and certainly wouldn't be described as threadbare.
Q: what chest size is the large size?
A: The large size measures 22.5" from armpit to armpit and would fit approximately up to a 41" chest.
Q: on the regular size could you tell the the lengh from top of the coller to the hem at the bottom of the coat, also you said it is a very heavy coat is it so heavy that it would hurt your back wearing it normaly (maybe you could give me a exact weight)?
A: The length of the jacket is approximately 49" from the top of the collar at the back to the bottom of the hem. This is a heavyweight coat but will feel quite comfortable when worn and weighs approximately 3kg.
Q: I've been looking all over for a more complete description of this coat. Would you please describe the rear, the lining, the material, and tell if there are inside pockets?
A: At the rear of the coat, there is a split vent approximately 20" from the bottom which also has the option of being buttoned closed. There is a 2 piece belt about half way up and this is held together with 3 brass type buttons. There is only lining at the back approximately from the shoulders to the lower back. There are no inside pockets and there is no label to describe exactly what the material is.
