Excellent value
Local shop In Buxton changed ownership and no longer stocked these trousers, so after finally wearing out my last pair (took nearly four years of almost daily wear) I had to search the net. Found these so I am all set to go again. I wear these for working, walking the dog, around the house and on holiday. I usually run on at least four pairs at a time so have just ordered another 2 pairs.
Pros: Really good value, Summer or winter wear, Comfortable , Easy wash and iron , Hold their colour well
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes

Tough, comfortable and great value for money!
I was initially hesitant about ordering these trousers (as a "if it's too good to be true it probably is" type thing). I bit the bullet and purchased a pair in OD Green for hiking and general outdoor pursuits. After wearing these trousers around camp (week long hiking trip in the Lakes) I decided to take them on a test trip and submitted Helvellyn in awful conditions (cold, pitch black, wind and rain) and they performed amazingly. Scuffs against rocks, falls on gravel, getting caught against sharp outcrops and bushes are no problem for these trousers and they're still in the perfect condition I originally unwrapped them in! Very tough stuff. Not only that, but they kept me warm and dried out very quickly once we were back at the campsite! The pockets are deep and I've stuffed them with stuff with nothing falling out. The map pocket is just that, fit my OS map in fine along with a few other stuff. I like to keep a basic first aid kit, torch and knife with me whilst out hiking and I could accommodate these just fine without looking like I had legs that were a foot wide! The fastenings on the bottom of the trouser legs are particularly useful if you're blousing your trousers and boots (to stop nasties getting up or the elements). I'm in the process of purchasing a few more pairs replacing my £30 Craghopper trousers (which are pretty bad quality for money compared to these ones) Thanks Mean and Green!
Pros: Doesn't restrict movement, Quick drying, Cords for blousing, Roomy pockets, Tough
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Great Value
Bought a couple of pairs of these online last week. I've had other combat pants at this price before that were really thin and flimsy but these are really very good. Despite being labelled as "basic" they basically do exactly what they say on the tin - they're pretty good quality and have all the pockets you'd expect. Might order a pair of the other colour too now.
Pros: Lots of pockets, Good quality , Great value, Not that lightweight
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right

Green Great, Black just OK
Just got two pairs of these, one green one black. The green pair fits great and feels very sturdy (65% Poly 35% cotton), The black pair is a different story, material looks very shiny/plasticy and is a lot thinner then the green pair (80% Poly 20% cotton), probably not the best choice for heavy duty outdoor work . Disappointment may be partly my fault for not checking the poly content, just presumed it would be standard 65/35. Also I got both size 34", but the black pair is noticeably larger more like 35". In short I would recommend the green version but not the black
Pros: Sturdy material in Green version, Light-weight, Good price
Cons: Thin material in black version, Black one feels plasticy, Fit variation between colours
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes

Really Good Quality Trousers
Bought these trousers from the recommendations of these reviews. They are fantastic quality for the price, and have a really solid feel to them. Unfortunately, The size I ordered felt a little too tight (36") around the legs, so I have returned and asked for an exchange for a 38" waist. The fact that I want an exchange and not a refund, is testament to the quality of these items. I would not hesitate to order from this company again! Thanks Mean and Green...Spot on! I will re-review the item when I receive my exchange.
Pros: Great colour, Tough wearing, Feel, Quality
Cons: Just a bit too tight! :-(
Sizing: Feels small

I recently ordered 2 pairs of these trousers but being female was not sure of what sizes to order, so ordered 34" unfortunately these turned out to be far too big. returned these with no fuss whatsover and reordered sizes 30" and 32" so ladies if you are sizes 12 and 14 these are the sizes you need.was truly impressed by the service received from this company they get 10 out of 10 for service and quality products. the trousers are well worth the money and will be ordering more shortly
Pros: Lots of pockets great work wear, Comfortable lightweight trousers
Cons: Nothing bad about these
Sizing: Feels about right

Ideal for work
Was really pleased with these trousers. much cheaper than in our local camping store. well known brand. arrived next day after ordering. adjustable ties at bottom of legs which makes a nice change from previous pairs of trousers i have bought that tend to 'flap loose' ideal for security work.
Pros: Wide belt loops, Lots of varied pockets, Adjustable , Good brand name, Cheap
Cons: Standard leg length
Sizing: Feels about right

Cheap but good
Wasn't sure about these as they are quite a cheap price and are described as "basic". But I was quite impressed, I find the material quite good and they fit really well. I wear them to work so didn't want to pay a fortune, and at this price they are just the job.
Pros: Loads of pockets, Good material, Cheap
Cons: Didn't like ties on bottom
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes

Cons: Only a standard leg available
Sizing: Feels about right
