Great pressie
Bought one of these for my other half's birthday as he's into all that survival stuff. He said it was a really well thought out kit with lots of useful (and potentially life saving) items and was surprised how much could fit into such a compact space.
Pros: Could save a life, Great gift idea, Good value, Lots of items, Kept him entertained for hours!
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

Life saver
This is a really useful bit of kit. I hope I never find myself in a situatoin when i actually need it but its comforting to know i have it. They really do pack a lot into a small tin, but each item could be a lifesaver, every one of which has its place and seems pretty high quality. After getting all the items out of the tin and inspecting them, I have now packed them all away again (bit like a puzzle fitting them back in the tin!) and will just keep in my car or throw in the bottom of my ruck when i'm out walking or climbing. Doesn't weigh much so won't hinder me at all but boy will i be grateful i have it if i have to spend the night on the side of a mountain with a broken leg!
Pros: Compact size, Doesn't weigh much, Even the tin will be useful!, Fits neatly in tin, Such a lot of items
Cons: Hanging handles bit fiddly
Would recommend: Yes

Wow
Being an ex army man (16yrs) I'd say I have a reasonable idea of what you'd need in order to get you through the first 48hrs to 72hrs, or even longer, of an emergency situation, and this little kit has the lot. It has been well thought out and the quality of the individual items is first rate. It is small enough to carry around in your pocket and I would recommend that every man and woman should have one of these kit. You never know when you'll need it. Be a good Boy Scout or girl guide and BE PREPARED.
Pros: Inexpensive , Has all you'll need, Light weight, It's compact
Cons: Can't think of any
Would recommend: Yes
