Q: Is the main ingredient chlorine? Do these tablets have an expiry date? If so how long will they last?
A: There is no mention of chlorine being the main ingredient in these and the individual packets have Sodium Dichloro-isocyanurate written on them. They do have an expiry date on them and are usually good for approx 3-4 years.
Q: I am going to egypt can i take these tablets oraly (swallow) before eating their food.
A: These are not to be taken orally. They must be dissolved in water and left for 30 mins before drinking.

These water purification tablets are awesome, they are great if your prepping or if u have a survival bag.they are reliable and very helpful for a survival situation. I use these tablets as an EDC because you never know.
