Burma 1941 - 1945. Qualifying service in the Burma campaign counted from 11 December 1941 and included service in the Bengal or Assam from 1 May 1942 to 31 December 1943, and from 1 January 1944 onwards in these parts of Bengal or Assam east of the Brahmaputra. Naval service in the eastern bay of Bengal, off the coast of Sumatra, Sunda and Malacca also counted.
This reproduction Burma Star medal with Pacific Clasp is made from 22ct gold plated lead-free pewter. It is supplied on a blue, orange and red ribbon attached to a card with an image of a British motar team in action on the front and historical information on the reverse.

Lovely Medals
I plan to collect all these medals they are very interesting items and i like the snippet of facts on the packaging of these medals i purchased this one to see what they were like as my great uncle had connections with this conflict. I am very happy with what it looked like i plan once i have all the small medals to place them in a display of some kind.
