Old School Come-Back
For someone used to using an inflateable, full length mat, these 'old school' type mats may initially feel uncomfortable to use. However, I prefer the solid sleep support they give. This mat is of good size and no cold spots in use and appears to have a useable temperature range suitable for UK four season use. The foam used for these modern mats also appears to be an improvement on that used years ago. Due to the physical properties, the mat would be ideal for tarp / wild camping. Well worth considering if camping on a tight budget. Being simple foam, no chance of failing during use. Overall, my preferred mat,
Pros: Nothing to go wrong, Comfortable, Price, Lightweight, Tough basic kit
Cons: Not fashionable
Would recommend: Yes

Cheapest mat of this quality on the market
Absolute wonder to sleep on even on the roughest ground. Very little heat loss through the mat into the floor, kept me comfortable and warm and well-rested through some truly shoddy weather this summer.
Pros: Easily transportable, Lightweight, Comfortable
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

Comfy
Steve also bought me one of these for our camping trip at the weekend. I was a little bit pessimistic to start with because it didnt seem much thicker than my previous one, but it was way more comfortable and insulated me from the ground cold better than any other ive used.
Pros: none
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

Stops the cold floor stealing your heat and provides alot more comfort than you would have without it, its lightweight so you don't know you have it when its ontop of your rucksack, its difficult to tear and is resistant to ripping when nature attacks (not bears or wolves but sticks, brambles and other pokey things)! its a good length for taller people (im 6.2 and still have room)
Pros: Tear and rip resistant, Good thickness, Good insulator, Lightweight
Cons: none
Sizing: Feels about right
Would recommend: Yes

Pros: Easy to pack away, Lightweight , Comfortable
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes
