A: As it is fully waterproof then in theory yes, although you may want to look at one of our ponchos with more heavy duty material if it's to be used as a shelter.

This poncho is cheap but very effective Used at Drayton Manor on the water rides and kept me very dry!! Now hoping to use it on my camping trip

Could be a lifesaver
As a basic functioning poncho, this does the job well. It serves it's purpose in that most your body is covered and no rain gets through. It's not the thickest material, but as long as you're not climbing through hedgerows, that shouldn't be a problem. I know a few people who have bought this one for festivals etc
