Good for a novice camper!
I hadn't been camping for about 20 years so I didn't want to invest too much in a tent just to try out the experience again. This is a very nice compact tent that rolls into its own little carry bag. It comes with everything you need: outer tent, inner tent, pegs, guy ropes. The tent is very simple to put up, you basically feed some interconnecting poles through a channel at the top of the tent and secure each end. That provides the "backbone" of the tent and makes it stand up. Then you put the inner tent inside which just clips to the top of the outer tent with some little toggles. Than all you have to do is peg down the little shock-cord loops at regular intervals and attach some guy ropes. For my first attempt, it probably took me about 15-20 mins to put this tent up, but having now done it once, I think it'll probably take me under 10 minutes the next time. The tent itself was very good - it didn't rain so didn't get to test it's waterproof qualities, but it seemed very sturdy and well made. I'm 5'11 and I was able to lie inside with just a few inches to spare. With 2 people in the tent there isn't much room, so I would say it's a snug 2 person tent or a roomy 1 person tent. But the advantage is that it's so compact and lightweight to carry. I plan to use this many more times now that I've got the camping bug again!
Pros: Everything supplied, Rolls up compact, Own carry bag, Lightweight, Easy to put up
Cons: Snug fit for 2 people
