This is genuine police-issue body armour and is both knife and bullet proof. The panels are designed to provide protection against ballistic and edged weapon threats at the following levels:
A) BALLISTIC
9mm FMJ @ 350 m/s minimum
.357 Magnum @ 375 m/s minimum
B) KNIVES, EDGED WEAPONS & POINTED INSTRUMENTS
Exceeds approved testing at 25 Joules minimum energy
These are used but are in excellent condition and the plates have no puncture or slash marks. If you are involved in security or high-risk professions then this is the armour you need.
Be very careful when purchasing body armour. Many are described as bullet-proof when they offer no such protection. Always look for the official label which should be on the plates underneath the cover.
