It also says 'Coat, cold weather, man's field. Alpha Industries, inc. RN 35569, Knoxville, TN, USA. Shell: 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton. Lining: 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton'. It is the same as an original army issue. |

I take size 34 jeans. I am a normal body shape. I tried on a friend's size XL Alpha M65 and it was way too big. Is the L still bigger than we might expect in the UK? Judging by the XL, I'm leaning towards the size M but it sounds like it would be too little. Help - what size would you recommend for Tony Blair or Rick Stein or Prince Charles...?! A: These do tend to come up rather large as they are designed to be worn over other layers and/or with a liner. I would normally recommend a size Medium for Tony, Rick or Charles, or perhaps a large if they wanted it particularly roomy. |
