A: These are the ear defenders used by the British Forces. they are very effective at muffling the sound of most weapons including 50 calibre weaponry

Fantastic...When used right!
These ear defenders are the best of the best when used correctly! Used alone they are fantastic for Air Rifles and .22 weaponry or some smaller machinery. For best results and to use with anything above .22 i would recommend using in conjunction with any Issue Kevlar Helmet. The Helmets MK6 and above are designed purposely to use with these slim line defenders so that they are compressed to your head snug so the db these can withstand is made greater. 80db upwards is the usual cut off point without the helmet.
Pros: Adjustable Size, Works with MK6 helmet and above, Easy to use, Fold quite compact, Fantastic value!
Cons: Need helmet to get full use
Sizing: Feels about right
