Puttees (sometimes spelt putties) are strips of cloth wound tightly round the leg from the ankle to the knee to support and protect the lower leg. These were worn by many regiments during the 1st and 2nd world wars.
These are genuine issue olive green puttees from the Australian Army and are dated 1943 on the label. Great for collectors or re-enactors. Price is per pair. Grade: Military issue, grade 1 (what's this...?) |
