A bit awkward
I got one of these because I wanted something even more lightweight and compact that my hand chainsaw. First impressions after I received it were good, but when I decided to try it out, I was quite disappointed. The wire for some reason seems to be constantly twisting and getting tangled, and I could barely saw a thing without it jamming up completely. I think I'll stick to my hand chainsaw and axe.
Pros: Light weight and compact
Cons: Always getting tangled, Keeps jamming, Quite short
Would recommend: No

Worth every penny
I bought this because I had a few branches on a tree near a wall that I couldn't cut with a normal saw. I thought the wire saw might be worth a try, but to be honest didn't expect it to be that good. Not only was it perfect for the job but hardly took any time at all and not that much effort. Genuinely pleasantly surprised.
Pros: Very portable, Easy to use
Cons: Could possibly be a bit longer
Would recommend: Yes
