Of special interest are the ex-Army MACKs, surplussed and readied for civilian employ, some of them metamorphosed beyond recognition, invariably with new cabs and bodywork, diesel engine transplants, chassis conversions and other alterations to suit the operators in countries around the world. Also included is a section of surviving "old warriors", mostly restored and preserved for posterity.
