This is one of the Ranger series of sleeping bags which are lightweight and compact with great warmth-to-weight ratios. This features a soft inner fabric, 2-way anti-snag zip and full-length baffle. It also has a thermal hood with draw cord, inner security pocket, hanging loops and comes complete with its own compression sack.
Q & A's
Q & A's
Q: Is it second hand?
A: No, it's brand new.
Q: Does this sleeping bag come with a stuff sac, and how water resistant is it (will it cope with a light shower or is a bivi bag required)?
A: It does come with a stuff sack, but as it is only shower-proof I would recommend a bivi bag.

Had my doubts but very pleased!
I bought this sleeping bag for a 2wk residential course in the shropshire/ welsh hills. I was staying in a yurt and it was October so suffice to say it was truly put to the test! I wasn't sure how much it'd suit me as I usually prefer the cotton inside rather than the shiny nylon lining but I can happily say that despite being a nylon mix lining it was nice to the feel and wasn't too noisy!!! It is a cosy squeeze in the actual sleeping bag and you can make it even cosier once you're in it. This limits any draughts that you might get around your head which is a bonus. I even tried to get my dog in to cuddle up with me but there was no way he'd fit as it was too snug! Good for me but not so good for him! Whilst this October hasn't been very cold it was very nippy during the nights and I did need extra layers to keep me warm. Don't forget your thermals! I tend to get cold anyhow though so for me I think in future I'd need something extra for beyond September!
Pros: Kept me warm!!!, Nice and light, Extra toggles & velcro, Mummy shape stops draughts, Material isn't noisy
Cons: A bit too snug sometimes
Would recommend: Yes
